The Ant and the Dove

 Author: Aesop A Dove observed an Ant plunge into a brook. The Dove dropped a blade of straw next to the struggling Ant after seeing how hard it was trying to reach the bank. The Ant floated safely to land by holding on to the straw like a shipwrecked mariner does to a broken spar. The Ant then observed a man getting ready to throw a stone at the Dove. The Dove was startled and flew to safety in a nearby wood as a result of the Ant stinging him in the heel as he prepared to cast the stone. Moral Never waste a good deed.

The Ant and the Grasshopper

 Author: Aesop Once upon a time, in a sunny field, a grasshopper was happily chirping away. He basked in the warmth of the summer sun and enjoyed his carefree life. Nearby, an ant, worked diligently, carrying food on her back from the field to her home. As the ant passed by the grasshopper, he smiled and said, "Why are you working so hard, my friend? Come, sing with me and enjoy the sunshine." The ant turned around, her brows furrowed in concentration, and replied, "I am saving for a rainy day. Winter will come, and we won't be able to find food. This stockpile will serve me well then." The grasshopper, being a jolly fellow who lived in the moment, chuckled and brushed off her concerns. "Hey ant, winter is far! There's plenty of time to prepare. Let's not worry about it now. Sing and dance with me!" Looking up at him with wise eyes, the ant shook her head. "You should plan in advance. Time flies, my friend. You will be cold and hun...
