The Lion and the Ass

 Author: Aesop

One day, the animals respectfully moved aside for the Lion as he marched proudly down a forest aisle. As he passed, however, an Ass yelled something disparaging.

A burst of rage hit the Lion. He continued walking quietly though after turning to look at the speaker. He wouldn't give the fool even a single claw stroke of respect.

Moral

Never take offense at a fool's remarks. Don't pay them any attention.
